Being Quiet Was Never the Problem… Being Unheard Was
Great ideas don’t always come from the loudest voice in the room. Communication isn’t about speaking more — it’s about making your thoughts impossible to miss.
Growing up as the “quiet kid,”
I always thought speaking less meant being less.
In classrooms, louder voices got noticed.
Faster answers felt smarter.

But over time, I realized something:
Silence doesn’t mean you have nothing to say.
Sometimes it just means…
you haven’t learned how to say it yet.

As I started working, one thing became very clear:
Communication isn’t just about talking more.
It’s about:
→ explaining your thinking clearly
→ asking the right questions
→ making your work understandable
---------------------------------------------------
Because:
“my work speaks for itself”
only works when people actually understand what you did 👀
So I started small:
→ speaking up a little more in meetings
→ writing things down more clearly
→ taking a second before saying “yes”
Still not the loudest person in the room.
But definitely more heard than before.

Turns out…
good communication doesn’t replace your work.
It amplifies it.
